Our Buggy Vacation

First let me notice that they keep changing this Blogger thing.  Starting to get annoyed.
We went to Rocky Point over the long weekend.  Weather was nice, water was warm and blue and we relaxed with each other and friends.
We were also attacked by a million bugs.  Mosquitoes probably, but so small and stealthy it was hard to identify.
I'm still itchy.
Here's the highlights in pictures.  I didn't bring the fancy camera because it is sandy and it is still Mexico.
So I apologize for the original iPhone quality pics (hope to get that new version on Friday).

See how far out the tide goes there? Its cool because the water stays so shallow for a long way out.

 I love this picture of Grace.  I think I'm going to blow it way up.

 I was being artsy here.  I noticed the interesting pattern of the windows in the condos with the ocean in the background.

 This was the best activity: the floating trampoline.  I found it nice just to lay on in the water.

Surf Divas!

We did it! We are officially Surf Divas! All seven of us actually got up and caught some waves. It was all so much fun.

I never in a million years would have gone surfing on my own, so thanks to my fabulous girlfriends for getting me out there.

We were having WAY to much fun surfing to get out and take pictures of each other, so you'll have to wait until I get the photo CD from the official Surf Diva photographer to see us actually surfing. Until then, here are some highlights from the trip.

Here We Come San Diego!

My girlfriends and I are going to surf camp this weekend.
Yes.
Me.
Surfing.
I'll believe it when I see it too.
Cathy cooked up this idea and convinced another six of us (Jeanette, Amy, Karen, Diane, Julie, and me) that it would be fun. I am sure we will have a blast spending a girls' weekend at the beach, especially since it is supposed to be 115 degrees here tomorrow.
We'll see how much "fun" the surfing is. It's probably going to be funny to watch.
